When should newborn photos be taken?


Mama, I recommend reaching out during your second trimester so we have plenty of time to plan around your due date.


The first two weeks after birth are often wonderful for those sleepy, curled up newborn portraits, but don't worry if that window has already passed! We can still capture beautiful moments with your little one.


And since babies tend to arrive on their own schedule, we'll keep things flexible when choosing your session date.

What if my baby won't sleep?


Then we'll photograph those beautiful little eyes, too!


Seriously, mama, there's no need to stress about getting your baby to sleep or keeping them happy for every second of the session.


We'll pause for feedings, diaper changes, snuggles, or whatever your baby needs. Some of my favorite moments happen when we're simply following their lead.

What should we wear for newborn photos?


Every newborn session includes personalized styling assistance, my Newborn Style Guide, and access to my growing Client Closet featuring timeless dresses for moms and select baby pieces. I'll help you create a simple, cohesive look that keeps the focus exactly where it belongs, on your growing family.

Can parents and siblings be included?



Please do! Mama, I know it's tempting to stay behind the camera, especially when you're still recovering and adjusting to life with a newborn.


But one day, your baby is going to love seeing just how little they were in your arms.


We'll make time for those sweet portraits of your little one, but I also want photographs of your whole family together, including those proud big brothers and sisters!
